M. Lena Wade was brought up in College Station, TX, singing gospel in the
church choir, traveling with a gospel group and acting in the community theater. During the early 90's, she discovered dance music and never let go. She moved to Austin, TX in 1997, where she was tracked down by school friends, asked to sing at weddings, and various other functions.
Singing has always been one of the many talents she was blessed with, but she never pursued it. Now she has run up on something she can't resist, writing and singing her own lyrics.
"For me, singing has always been about working with real people and being allowed to be the real me. Otherwise, what's the real fun in it?".
In 2003 she reconnected with long time friend Mike Constantino (Fair Park Records / Sound Prood Music) and soon therafter began working with a variety of top producers in the house music industry. With a handfull of upcoming releases already in the bag, praises from the liks of Mateo & Matos, 2004 and on is looking very bright for Lena. Keep your ears peeled for this lady!
